How To Make Haystack Cookies

These haystack cookies use chow mein noodles that are coated in a rich mix of chocolate and butterscotch to create a quick and simple no-bake dessert.

Ingredients

  • 12ozmilk chocolate chips
  • 12ozbutterscotch chips
  • 12ozchow mein noodles
  • ¼cupsprinkles

Instructions

  1. Place the milk chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a large bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments until melted. Stir until smooth.

  2. Add the chow mein noodles to the bowl and toss until coated in the chocolate mixture.

  3. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the cookie mixture onto a piece of parchment and shape into a mound; place a pinch of sprinkles on top.

  4. Repeat the process with the remaining cookie mixture and sprinkles until there are 12 cookies.

  5. Let cookies sit until firm, then serve. Cookies can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
