How To Make Glazed Apple Cookies

- 2 apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture until well combined.

Gently fold in the diced apples.

Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth to make the glaze.

Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies.
