How To Make Gingerdoodles
This gingerdoodles recipe teaches you how to make ginger-flavored snickerdoodle cookies that you can whip up this fall for under 30 minutes.

Ingredients
- ¾cupbutter,softened
- ½sugar
- ½cupbrown sugar,packed
- 1egg
- ½cupmaple syrup,I used real maple syrup
- 3¼cupsflour
- 1tspbaking soda
- ½tspcinnamon
- ½tspground ginger
- ¼tspsalt
- ¼tspcream of tarter
- ¼tspground nutmeg
For Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
- ½cupsugar
- 1tspcinnamon
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a bowl cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and syrup.

In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, salt, cream of tarter, and nutmeg. Slowly beat into the creamed mixture.

In a small bowl combine cinnamon and sugar for the coating. Scoop out the dough and shape into one inch balls. Roll in the cinnamon sugar coating.

Place 3 inches apart on an engrossed baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool on wire rack.
