How To Make Giant Cookie

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the vanilla extract and egg until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Transfer the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into one large cookie, about 1/2 inch thick.

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let the giant cookie cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
