It’s hard to beat a classic! These incredible oatmeal oatmeal raisin cookies has a delectable crunch paired with the balanced flavors of oats and raisins!

  • ¾lbbutter,at room temperature
  • 1cupbrown sugar
  • 1cupgranulated sugar
  • 1egg
  • 1tspvanilla extract
  • 3cupsrolled oats,not instant
  • cupflour
  • ½tspsalt
  • ½tspcinnamon
  • tspbaking soda
  • cupraisins


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees f.

  2. Cream together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy.

  3. Cream in egg and vanilla.

  4. In a medium bowl mix together all remaining ingredients except the raisins.

  5. With the mixer on, add the oat mixture to the butter mixture until combined.

  6. Stir in the raisins.

  7. Drop tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets.

  8. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
