How To Make Cream Cheese Cookies

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the cream cheese mixture, mixing well after each addition.

Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
