How To Make Copycat Mrs. Fields Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 ½ tsp. vanilla
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 18 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips.

  5. Shape the dough into golf ball-sized portions. Place 2-inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

  6. Bake for 9 to 10 minutes or just until edges are light brown. Let cool and serve.
