Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 ½ tsp. vanilla
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 18 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.

Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips.

Shape the dough into golf ball-sized portions. Place 2-inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 9 to 10 minutes or just until edges are light brown. Let cool and serve.
