  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

  2. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  3. Gradually add the flour and salt to the mixture, mixing until well combined.

  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

  5. Scoop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, using a cookie scoop or tablespoon to portion the dough.

  6. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes to firm up the cookie dough.

  7. Once the cookie dough is firm, it can be used to make ice cream or stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
