
How To Make Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
A simple, but perfectly flavorful batch of chocolate chip cookies makes the best afternoon snack. This classic cookie takes less than 30 minutes to make.

Ingredients
- 2¼cupsflour
- 1tspbaking soda
- ½tspsalt
- 1cupbutter
- ½cupgranulated sugar
- ¾cupbrown sugar
- 2tspvanilla
- 1egg
- 2cupschocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Cream the butter, brown sugar and white sugar, then add in the vanilla and egg.

Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, then stir to combine. Mix in the chocolate chips.

Roll into tablespoon-sized balls, then place the dough 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Let cool for at least 5 minutes.
