Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • cinnamon sugar, (3 Tbs. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon)

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients in a medium bowl.

  2. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy in a separate bowl

  3. Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Mix until combined.

  4. Roll dough into balls. Place the balls onto two parchment lined baking sheets.

  5. Bake in a 400° oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
