How To Make Chocolate-Dipped Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 egg whites
- Pinch of salt
- 4 oz dark chocolate, melted
Instructions

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix together the shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold the egg whites into the coconut mixture until fully incorporated.

Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely on a wire rack.

Once cooled, dip the bottom of each macaroon into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.

Place the dipped macaroons back on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
