How To Make Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
Whip up a quick treat with these oatmeal cookies, packed with flavors of peanut butter and studded with chocolate chips. No chilling needed!

Ingredients
- 1½cupsshortening
- 1½cupspeanut butter
- 2cupsbrown sugar,packed
- 3eggs
- 2tspvanilla extract
- 3cupsquick cooking oats
- 2cupsall purpose flour
- 2tspbaking powder
- 1tspsalt
- 2cupssemi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

In a mixing bowl, cream the shortening and peanut butter. Add the brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.

Combine the oats, flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Add the chocolate chips and mix in well.

Drop the dough by the rounded teaspoonful unto an ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.

Bake for 12 minutes or until done.
