How To Make Black and White Chippers

You’ll love the contrast of colors in this chippers recipe. They’re tiny chocolate cookies studded with white chocolate and baked until soft and chewy.

  • ½cupshortening
  • ¾cupsugar
  • 1egg
  • ¼cupmilk
  • 1tspvanilla extract
  • cupsall purpose flour
  • ½cupbaking cocoa
  • ½tspsalt
  • ½tspbaking soda
  • 1cupswhite chocolate chips


  1. Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, milk and vanilla.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda; gradually add dry mixture to shortening and mix well.

  3. Fold in white chocolate chips.

  4. Use mini cookie scoop to place onto an ungreased baking sheet.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 to 7 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
