How To Make Becel® Anything Goes Cookie Dough
Make a fresh batch of everyone’s favorite dessert! With these cookie recipes, you can bake all kinds of different sweet treats. Make a classic snack with chocolate chip cookies. Or, switch it up by adding nuts, raisins, and other ingredients to keep things interesting.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened Becel® margarine, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if using.
Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
