How To Make Easy Buckeyes
Buckeyes are tasteful balls of creamy peanut butter dipped in chocolate. These easy no-bake candies make the perfect gift for the season of giving.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1½cupspeanut butter
- ½cupbutter,softened
- ½tspvanilla
- 4cupspowdered sugar
- 3cupssemi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1tbspshortening,or coconut oil
Instructions

Combine the peanut butter, butter, and vanilla with a mixer on medium, until fluffy.

Mix in the powdered sugar a little bit at a time until incorporated.

Chill the mixture for 30 minutes.

Roll the mixture into balls, then place them on a parchment lined pan.

Chill the mixture again for 30 minutes.

Combine the chocolate chips and shortening in a small bowl.

Microwave at 50 percent power for 1 minute.

Stir, then continue microwaving in 30-second increments just until melted.

Place a toothpick into each peanut butter ball, then dip them in the chocolate, leaving a bit of the peanut butter peeking out the top.

Place on a parchment-lined pan, then chill for another 20 minutes.
