How To Make Easy Buckeyes
Buckeyes are tasteful balls of creamy peanut butter dipped in chocolate. These easy no-bake candies make the perfect gift for the season of giving.
Combine the peanut butter, butter, and vanilla with a mixer on medium, until fluffy.
Mix in the powdered sugar a little bit at a time until incorporated.
Chill the mixture for 30 minutes.
Roll the mixture into balls, then place them on a parchment lined pan.
Chill the mixture again for 30 minutes.
Combine the chocolate chips and shortening in a small bowl.
Microwave at 50 percent power for 1 minute.
Stir, then continue microwaving in 30-second increments just until melted.
Place a toothpick into each peanut butter ball, then dip them in the chocolate, leaving a bit of the peanut butter peeking out the top.
Place on a parchment-lined pan, then chill for another 20 minutes.
Serve chilled, and enjoy!
