How To Make French Toast Sticks

Meal prep some french toast sticks for those busy mornings. Place them in the freezer and simply heat up for a quick and easy breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread, thick sliced
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 4 eggs
  • â…“ cup sugar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¾ tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Begin by cutting each slice of bread into three pieces, forming bread sticks.

  3. In a bowl, combine the butter, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and milk; mix well.
  4. Next, dip each bread stick into the egg mix and place on a cookie sheet.
  5. Once all the sticks are on the cookie sheet, drizzle the remaining egg mixture on top of the sticks.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes, turn the sticks and continue baking for another 12 minutes, or until golden on both sides.

  7. Finish by serving warm with some maple syrup or allow to cool and place in a freezer bag for a quick breakfast meal to come!
  8. When you’re ready to eat them, simply place them into the microwave and warm for 1 minute.
