  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, puree the blackberries until smooth.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pureed blackberries and sugar until well combined.

  3. Add the heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, and lemon juice to the blackberry mixture and stir until fully incorporated.

  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  5. Once churned, transfer the ice cream to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
