How To Make Berry Sundae with Chocolate Sauce
Melted bittersweet chocolate and ricotta cheese make the perfect blend in this no-churn berry sundae that’s topped with berries and chocolate sauce.
Remove the ricotta cheese from the refrigerator and allow it to warm up and soften a bit for 15 to 20 minutes. Stir in the cane sugar.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and set it aside to cool slightly.
Gently fold together ½ of the melted chocolate with the ricotta cheese. Save the other ½ of the melted chocolate for drizzling on top of the sundae.
Serve the ricotta mixture with a wet ice cream scoop and place 2 scoops in a bowl.
Garnish with berries and give the sundae a drizzle of melted chocolate.
You can leave it marbleized or work in chocolate until the cheese is a homogenous color.
