
How To Make Twix Brownies
These Twix and brownies mash-up is a sure crowd pleaser! The shortbread crust is layered with brownie, caramel, and chocolate for decadent Twix brownies.

Ingredients
For Crust Layer:
- 12⅘ozSimply Sandies Shortbread Cookies,(1 package)
- 6tbspbutter
For Brownie Layer:
- 1boxbrownie mix,plus ingredients on the brownie mix box, such as eggs, oil, and water
- ¼cuphot fudge topping
For Caramel Layer:
- 14ozcaramels,(1 bag)
- 2tbspheavy cream
For Chocolate Topping:
- 11½ozmilk chocolate chips,(1 bag)
- 2tbspbutter
- ¼cupheavy cream
Instructions

Grease the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan.
Crust Layer:

Put the cookies into a food processor until very fine. In a medium bowl melt the butter. Add the cookies to this and mix until moist. Press into the bottom of the pan.
Brownie Layer:

Prepare the brownie mix as directed on the box but also add in the fudge topping.

Spread on top of cookie. Cook the brownie mix as directed and let it cool completely.
Caramel Layer:

Melt cream and caramels together over medium low heat on the stove until caramels are melted and creamy.

Pour this evenly on top of the cooled brownies. Let cool until set.
Chocolate Topping:

Lastly, melt the chocolate, butter and heavy cream together and pour over the caramel layer. Let this cool.

Serve and enjoy.
Recipe Notes
You can speed up the cooling process by placing the brownies in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
