
How To Make Salted Butterscotch Blondies
Enjoy luscious and decadent bites of these butterscotch blondies, loaded with sweet-salty butterscotch morsels, for a richly fudgy treat!

Ingredients
- 2cupsall purpose flour,spoon and leveled
- 1tspbaking powder
- ½tspsalt
- 1cupunsalted butter,browned, or melted
- 1¾cuplight brown sugar,or dark, packed
- 1large egg,plus 1 egg yolk
- 2tsppure vanilla extract
- 1½cupsbutterscotch morsels
- ¾cupwalnuts,chopped, optional
- coarse sea salt,or flaky, for sprinkling on top, optional
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch square pan or line with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides. Set aside.

Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl.

In a medium bowl, whisk the browned or melted butter and brown sugar together. Once completely combined, whisk in the whole egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk or stir until combined. Fold in the butterscotch morsels and nuts.

Evenly spread batter into prepared pan.

Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.

Remove from the oven and cool blondies completely in the pan set on a wire rack.
