
How To Make Mounds Brownies
The sweetened coconut shreds made Mounds an iconic candy. In this recipe, we are fusing Mounds with a moist brownie for this superb Mounds brownies treat.

Ingredients
For Brownies:
- ½cupbutter,melted
- 1½cupswhite sugar
- 1½tspteaspoons vanilla extract
- 2eggs
- ¾cupsall-purpose flour
- ¼tspsalt
- ½cupcocoa powder,unsweetened
- ½cupchocolate chips
For Mounds Coconut Layer:
- 1 ⅓cupscondensed milk,sweetened
- 4 ½cupsflaked coconut
- 1cuppowdered sugar
For Topping:
- 1cupchocolate chips,semi sweet
- ½cupheavy cream
- 1tbspbutter
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9×9-inch pan.

In a large bowl, combine the butter, sugar, and vanilla. Beat in the eggs.
Mounds Coconut Layer:

Combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Add a little at a time to the egg mixture just until combined.

Fold in chocolate chips and pour into prepared pan.

Bake about 22 to 26 minutes or just until done. Careful not to overbake. Remove and cool.

Combine sweetened condensed milk, coconut, and powdered sugar in a bowl until well mixed. Spread over cooled brownies.
Topping:

Bring heavy cream and butter just to a boil. Pour over chocolate chips and let sit 4 minutes without stirring. Stir until completely combined.

Pour over the coconut layer. Let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes. Refrigerate to set.
