For a great last-minute dessert, whip up these rich cake mix brownies, packed with chocolate chips and walnuts for a tastier sweet treat!

  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 15½ozchocolate cake mix,(1 package)
  • 6ozsemisweet chocolate chips,(1 package)
  • 1cupwalnuts,chopped
  • ½cupmilk
  • cupapplesauce
  • 1large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

  2. Combine the cake mix, chocolate chips, walnuts, milk, applesauce, and egg in a large bowl.

  3. Pour into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  5. Let cool completely before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
