
How To Make Gooey Caramel Pumpkin Blondies
Treat your tastebuds to these gooey pumpkin blondies, made with pumpkin puree, warm spices, and caramels, for a delectable treat that’s rich in sugar tones.

Ingredients
- 12tbspbutter,softened
- 1cupbrown sugar
- 1cuppumpkin puree
- 2eggs
- 1tspvanilla
- 1¾cupsflour
- ½tspcinnamon
- ½tsppumpkin pie spice
- 1tspbaking soda
- ¼tspsalt
- 1cupsemisweet chocolate chips
- 15caramels,unwrapped, such as Kraft, plus more for topping
- ¼cupheavy cream
- pecans,optional
Instructions

Cream together butter and sugar. Mix in pumpkin, eggs and vanilla.

In another bowl whisk together flour, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, and salt.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread ½ of the batter in a greased 9×13-inch pan.

In a microwave safe bowl, microwave caramels and heavy cream, stirring every 20 seconds, until smooth. Pour caramel into pan.

Drop spoonfuls of remaining batter on top of caramel. Use a knife or spatula to gently spread the batter over the caramel. It’s okay a few spots of caramel aren’t completely covered.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out mostly clean. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Top with additional caramel and nuts if desired. Enjoy!
