How To Make Glazed Lemon Brownies

Bright, moist, and chewy, these lemon brownies are made with simple and pantry-accessible ingredients, for sweet treats drizzled with a zesty glaze.

  • ½cupbutter,softened
  • ¾cupsugar
  • 2large eggs
  • 1tbsplemon juice
  • ½lemon,zested
  • ¾cupflour
  • ¼tspbaking powder
  • ¼tspsalt

For Lemon Glaze:

  • ½cuppowdered sugar
  • 1tbsplemon juice
  • ½lemon,zested


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8×8-inch pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy removal.

  2. In a large mixing bowl or using a stand mixer add the butter, sugar, and lemon zest and beat until it is fluffy.

  3. Add in the eggs and lemon juice.

  4. Add in the flour and baking powder and beat until it is combined.

  5. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes. Remove and let cool.

Lemon Glaze:

  1. Whisk together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest. Pour over the top of the cooled lemon brownies.

  2. Serve and enjoy.
