How To Make Chocolate Cereal Breakfast Bars

Ingredients
- 2 cups of cereal (such as rice or corn flakes)
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions

Line a 9×9 inch baking dish with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the cereal and chocolate chips.

In a small saucepan, melt the peanut butter and honey over low heat, stirring until smooth.

Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal and chocolate chips, and mix until well coated.

Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish, using the back of a spoon to firmly press it down.

Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top, if desired.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.

Remove from the fridge and cut into bars.
