Semi-sweet and German chocolate both go into this super-rich brownie.
Chocolate Brownies Recipe
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 oz semi-sweet baking chocolate
- 2 oz baking German chocolate
- 2 cup sugar
- 4 extra large eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp butternut vanilla or vanilla
- nuts chopped
Melt margarine and chocolates in a saucepan. Remove from heat and mix in sugar. Always mix by hand when making brownies. Pour into a large mixing bowl.
Add eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition. Stir in flour, vanilla, and nuts.
Pour into a greased 13x9" pan. Sprinkle nuts on top if desired.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Test for doneness with a toothpick; don’t over bake.
