Chocolate Brownies Recipe

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 oz semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 2 oz baking German chocolate
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 4 extra large eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp butternut vanilla or vanilla
  • nuts chopped


  1. Melt margarine and chocolates in a saucepan. Remove from heat and mix in sugar. Always mix by hand when making brownies. Pour into a large mixing bowl.

  2. Add eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition. Stir in flour, vanilla, and nuts.

  3. Pour into a greased 13x9" pan. Sprinkle nuts on top if desired.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Test for doneness with a toothpick; don’t over bake.
