How To Make Cherry Cheesecake Brownies

Sink your teeth into these decadent cheesecake brownies, with three layers of fudgy brownie, creamy cheesecake, and a topping of tart and sweet cherries.

For Chocolate Brownie Layer:

  • ½cupunsalted butter,melted
  • 1cupsugar
  • 2large eggs
  • 2tspvanilla extract
  • cupunsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½cupflour
  • ¼tspsalt
  • ¼tspbaking powder

For Cherry Cheesecake Layer:

  • 8ozcream cheese,softened
  • cupwhite sugar
  • 2tbspflour
  • 1large egg
  • 1tspvanilla extract
  • 20ozcherry pie filling,strained


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 9×13-inch baking pan with baking spray.

  2. Whisk together melted butter, sugar, flour, eggs, and vanilla extract. Then, add in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.

  3. Spread the batter evenly into the greased baking pan.

  4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  5. Spread mixture evenly over the chocolate layer.

  6. Strain the cherries out of the cherry pie filling can, leaving behind most of the glaze portion of the can.

  7. Add the cherries in small clusters over the brownies.

  8. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the cheesecake is set.

  9. Let cool completely before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
