
How To Make Southern Cornbread Dressing
Stuffing is a great add-on to your main dishes. More than just something to fill the turkey with during Thanksgiving, stuffing is a wonderful side dish to complement your dish of choice. There’s no stopping you in enjoying this stuffing recipe!

Ingredients
- 4 cups crumbled cornbread
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the cornbread, celery, onion, bell pepper, garlic, parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Gradually pour the broth over the cornbread mixture, stirring gently to combine. Add the melted butter and mix well.

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the dressing is set.
