The best way to spice up tomatoes? Fill it with sausage, cheese, and egg for tangy and meaty stuffed tomatoes that are baked for a mouthwatering bite.

  • 1tomato
  • 2tbspsausage,cooked
  • 1egg
  • cheese,shredded, to taste
  • olive oil,to taste
  • black pepper,to taste
  • fresh basil,to garnish


  1. Cut off the top of the tomato and remove the insides. Fill with cooked sausage, crack in an egg, and added shredded cheese.

  2. Drizzle some olive oil over the top. Bake in the oven at 425 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how well done the eggs are.

  3. Season with some pepper and garnish with basil.

  4. Serve and enjoy.
