
How To Make Bread Sauce Stuffing
Stuffing is a great add-on to your main dishes. More than just something to fill the turkey with during Thanksgiving, stuffing is a wonderful side dish to complement your dish of choice. There’s no stopping you in enjoying this stuffing recipe!

Ingredients
- 4 cups of stale bread, torn into small pieces
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of dried sage
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.

Add the torn bread to the saucepan, and stir to combine. Pour in the milk, and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes, until the bread has absorbed the milk.

Remove the saucepan from the heat, and stir in the dried thyme, dried sage, salt, and pepper.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, and smooth the top with a spoon.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top has turned golden brown and crispy.

Serve the bread sauce stuffing hot alongside your favorite roast or turkey.
