How To Make Corn Tortilla Chips

The perfect recipe for afternoon snacks and movie nights

  • 1 quart oil (for frying)
  • 12 oz corn tortillas (cut into 6 wedges each)
  • salt (to taste)
  1. Heat oil in a large, heavy saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In small batches, fry the corn tortilla wedges until crisp.
  3. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.
  4. Salt to taste while warm.
