  • tbsp rice flour, or potato starch
  • tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp beef bouillon
  • 1⅓ lb lean ground beef, preferably chuck
  • 1 cup beef stock, or water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

To serve:

  • Taco shells
  • sides, any sides like guacamole, sour cream, grated cheese, shredded salad greens

Instructions

  1. Combine your rice flour or potato starch, chili powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, garlic salt, sugar, & dried onion in a small bowl.

  2. Heat up oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Once hot, add the ground beef. Break up any large chunks with your spatula and continue sauteing until browned.

  4. Remove from the heat and drain any excess liquid or oil from the pan.

  5. Return the pan to heat and add your spice mixture, bouillon, & water.

  6. Bring the sauce to a simmer for at least 15 minutes or until the sauce has thickened & no aftertaste of starch or flour.

  7. Assemble your hard taco shells and top them with your favorite fresh ingredients to garnish.
