How To Make Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips
Serve the best appetizer with these cinnamon sugar tortilla chips made with baked flour tortillas covered in melted butter and cinnamon sugar.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper and top with wire cooling racks.
Microwave butter in a large bowl (with lid) for about 1 to 2 minutes, or until completely melted.
Cut the flour tortillas into 12 wedges each.
Add the tortilla wedges to the bowl of melted butter.
Place lid firmly on the bowl and shake vigorously until the tortillas are evenly coated.
In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar. Toss the mixture over the buttered tortillas.
Place the lid back on the bowl and shake well. Separate any tortillas stuck together and re-shake to ensure they are all coated well.
Arrange the tortillas over the cooling racks and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown. Some chips may still seem soft but will get crispy as they cool.
