If you have ever wanted pumpkin pie for an appetizer, this pumpkin dip recipe is perfect! The orange extract adds that little bit of citrus that helps brighten up the rich pumpkin flavors.

How To Make Pumpkin Dip

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • 14 oz pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp orange extract
  • gingersnaps
  1. In a food processor, combine powdered sugar and cream cheese. Blend until smooth.

  2. Add the pumpkin puree along with the cinnamon and the orange extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Place several gingersnap cookies in a plastic bag and crumble them using a rolling pin.

  4. Sprinkle the crushed gingersnaps over the pumpkin dip. Serve with additional gingersnap cookies.
