How To Make Pear and Apple Crisps
Switch up your usual dessert for these healthier apple crisps! They’re baked to golden brown perfection for the best sweet after a big meal.

Ingredients
- 4d’anjou pears,or gala apples
- ½cuprolled oats,scant
- ½cupwhite whole wheat flour,scant, or regular whole wheat flour
- ¼cupraw turbinado sugar
- ½tspcinnamon
- ¼tspginger
- ¼tspnutmeg
- pinchsalt
- 2tbspmelted butter,plus 2 tsp
- 2tbspplain yogurt,or Greek yogurt
- 2tspmaple syrup,preferably real maple syrup
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and grease a large baking pan or a 13×9-inch pan.

Cut the pears and/or apples in half and use a paring knife to carefully cut out the cores. Discard the cores.

In a medium bowl, combine the oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, melted butter, plain yogurt, and maple syrup. Mix well.

Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough onto each pear/apple half and smush it into a mound.

Bake for 25 minutes or until the top is golden.
