Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup of half-and-half
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Cook until the potatoes are fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Mash them until smooth.

  3. Add the half-and-half, sour cream, and butter to the pot. Mix until everything is well combined and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Serve the mashed potatoes hot.
