Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and grated
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish with vegetable oil.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, onion, beaten eggs, flour, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the potato mixture to the skillet and press it down evenly.

  4. Cook the potato mixture for about 5 minutes per side, until golden brown.

  5. Transfer the cooked potato mixture to the greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.

  6. Bake for 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
