How To Make Instant Pot Au Gratin Potatoes

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley


  1. Place the potatoes, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, milk, chicken broth, garlic, salt, and black pepper in the Instant Pot.

  2. Close the lid and set the valve to seal. Cook on manual high pressure for 5 minutes.

  3. Quick release the pressure and carefully remove the lid.

  4. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the potatoes and broil in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

  5. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
