How To Make Southwestern Maple Glazed Salmon with Pineapple Salsa

Flaky and sweet, this maple glazed salmon is broiled to tender perfection, and served alongside a sweet-tangy pineapple salsa, for a tasteful dinner meal!

Ingredients

For Salmon:

  • 1tsppaprika
  • 1tspancho chili powder
  • ¼tspground cumin
  • ¼tspsugar
  • 1tspkosher salt
  • 4salmon fillets
  • 2tbspmaple syrup

For Pineapple Salsa:

  • 2cupsfresh pineapple,diced
  • 2tbspfresh cilantro,chopped
  • 2tbsplime juice,fresh
  • 1tbspmaple syrup

Instructions

  1. Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the top of the oven and preheat the broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.

Pineapple Salsa:

  1. Combine the pineapple, cilantro, lime juicy, and maple syrup in a small bowl. Set aside.

Salmon:

  1. Mix the paprika, ancho chili powder, cumin, sugar and kosher salt together in a small bowl.

  2. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle evenly with the spice mixture.

  3. Broil for 5 to 6 minutes, or until almost done. Remove the pan from the oven and brush the fillets evenly with the maple syrup.

  4. Broil for 1 minute more.

  5. Transfer the fish to plates and top with pineapple salsa. Enjoy!
