Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 inches fresh ginger, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons loose black tea
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.

  2. Add the ginger slices and simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and add the black tea. Allow it to steep for 3 minutes.

  4. Strain the tea into mugs and stir in the honey and liquid smoke.

  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
