How To Make Elderberry Tea

Have a relaxing drink during teatime with this elderberry tea recipe. Sweet and tangy elderberries spiced with cinnamon for a drink that will soothe your thirst.

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp dried elderberries
  • 1 cinnamon stick


  1. In a small pot put in the cinnamon stick, elderberries, and water.
  2. Put the pot over high heat to begin boiling. When the tea starts to boil, bring the heat down to low and gently simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Once the tea has simmered, turn the heat off and let it stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour the tea through a fine-mesh strainer into a glass.
