How To Make Mint Tea

Enjoy a refreshing cup of this strong and warm mint tea! It’s lightly sweet and earthy, mixed with green tea, for the perfect cuppa.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4cupswater,boiling
  • 1tbsploose green tea
  • ¾cupsugar
  • 3cupsmint leaves,and tender stems, firmly packed

Instructions

  1. Pour a little boiling water into a large teapot, swish it around to heat the pot, and pour the water out.

  2. Add the tea to the teapot and pour in 1 cup of boiling water. Cover and let steep for 3 minutes.

  3. Add the sugar and mint leaves and stems to the teapot. Pour in the remaining 3 cups boiling water.

  4. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Stir, then continue to steep for 5 minutes more.

  5. Strain the mint tea into cups or heatproof glasses. Enjoy!
