How To Make Freshly Brewed Iced Tea with Fresh Mint

Cool down on a hot summer day with a glass of this freshly brewed iced tea, with sprigs of mint and lemon slices for an extra refreshing drink.

Ingredients

  • 6tea bags of choice
  • 6cupswater
  • a few sprigs of mint leaves
  • one lemon,sliced, for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil 2 cups of water, add tea bags to boiling water and let the tea steep for about 15 minutes without moving. Add sweetener, if using.

  2. Discard tea bags, being careful not to squeeze as it will make the tea bitter. Combine with remaining cold water and fresh mint.

  3. Refrigerate. Serve over ice with fresh lemon.
