Ingredients

  • 4 cups of water
  • 4 bags of black tea
  • 1 cup of tapioca pearls
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 4 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the black tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes.

  2. While the tea is steeping, cook the tapioca pearls according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  3. Remove the tea bags from the pot and stir in the coconut milk and brown sugar. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is hot but not boiling.

  4. Divide the cooked tapioca pearls among 4 glasses. Pour the hot tea mixture over the pearls.

  5. Serve immediately with ice cubes, if desired.
