Ingredients

  • 14 oz condensed milk, sweetened
  • 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 oz unsweetened baking chocolate, if desired
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped; if desired
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Grease the bottom and sides of an 8-inch square pan with butter.

  2. In a 2-quart saucepan, heat milk, chocolate chips and baking chocolate (optional) over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.

  3. Remove from heat. Quickly stir in nuts (optional) and vanilla.

  4. Spread the fudge in the pan. Refrigerate about for 1 hour 30 minutes or until firm.

  5. Cut into 1-inch squares and serve.
