Fine Peanut Butter Fudge Bars Recipe

Ingredients

  • 18 oz yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp butter , or margarine

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

  2. In a bowl, combine cake mix, peanut butter, egg, and oil.

  3. Press two-thirds of the mixture into prepared baking pan.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes.

  5. Cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes.

  6. In a heavy saucepan, heat the milk, chocolate chips, and butter over low heat; stir until blended.

  7. Pour over crust.

  8. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.

  9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.

  10. Cool on wire rack.

  11. Cut into bars.
