  • 1 ready-made pie crust
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and press it to fit.

  3. In a skillet, sauté the sliced onions until they soften and turn golden brown.

  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

  5. Spread the sautéed onions evenly over the bottom of the pie crust.

  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the onions.

  7. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese and onions.

  8. Carefully transfer the quiche to the preheated oven.

  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown on top.

  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
