How To Make Camote
Camote is the Filipino term for sweet potato. In this recipe, they're grated, fried, and sprinkled with white sugar to make a tasty snack.

Ingredients
- 2 cup camote (sweet potato), peeled and grated
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- oil, for frying
- white sugar, for dusting
Instructions
- Peel, grate, and rinse the camotes. Combine in a large bowl with the brown sugar, flour, and vanilla.

Pour a thin layer of oil into a large pan. Bring the oil to a medium high heat. Drop the camote mixture by spoonfuls into the oil and fry until golden brown, about to 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Drain on a plate lined with paper towels. Sprinkle with sugar before serving.
