How To Make Instant Pot Picadillo
You only need 10 minutes to prep this easy picadillo recipe, and let the instant pot simmer tender beef and olives in a savory tomato sauce!

Ingredients
- 1½lbsground beef,93% lean
- ½large onion,chopped
- 2garlic cloves,minced
- 1tomato,chopped
- 1tspkosher salt
- ½red bell pepper,finely chopped
- 2tbspcilantro
- 4oztomato sauce,(½ can)
- 1tspground cumin
- 2bay leaf
- 2tbspalcaparrado,or capers, or green olives
Instructions

Press the sauté button, then brown the meat and season with salt and pepper. Use a wooden spoon to break the meat up into small pieces until no longer pink.

Add the onion, garlic, tomato, salt, pepper, and cilantro and stir for 1 minute. Then, add the alcaparrado or olives and about 2 tablespoons of the brine, cumin, and bay leaf.

Add tomato sauce and 3 tablespoons of water and mix well. Cover and cook for High pressure for 15 minutes.

Natural or quick-release and enjoy!
